MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were married at Villa Del Balbianello at Lake Como in Italy. The couple’s wedding festivities, including the Sangeet and Mehendi ceremony, took place today at the resort they are staying at. Ranveer also played the dhol and sang a song for his lady love.

The couple has taken extraordinary steps to ensure absolute privacy. The villa has been on lockdown, and there is a three-step security screening. The couple has invited only close friends and their family members for the wedding. From Bollywood, the couple has invited their mentor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, whom the duo has worked with in three blockbuster films. They were spotted at Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s residence on Diwali to invite him.

As per some media reports, Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali arrived at the venue 9 AM today. Deepika debuted in Bollywood with Shah Rukh Khan in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om. The couple was also spotted at Farah Khan’s house after visiting Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Diwali. As per reports, the couple has also invited Aditya Chopra, as Ranveer Singh made his Bollywood debut with Yash Raj Films.
