MUMBAI: Dil Chahta Hai is one of the most loved Bollywood movies of all time, over the time the movie has made a strong mark in the Bollywood industry and in the hearts and Minds of the fans. Till today when we see the movie, we love to see it all over again. How can we ever forget the chemistry between Aamir Khan, Akshaye Khanna, and Saif Ali Khan in the movie. What do you know there were few changes made before finalising the cast.

Yes you heard right, initially Farhan Akhtar decided to cast Akshaye Khanna in the role of Aakash which is played by Aamir Khan, and it was Hrithik Roshan who was supposed to play Sidharth in the movie which is played by Akshay Khanna, and Saif Ali Khan as Sameer, after the Hrithik Roshan's exit from the movie do Siddharth character went to Abhishek Bacchan, but junior Bachchan also didn't turn up the role. And later it went to Aamir Khan.

But Aamir Khan insisted on playing Akash in the movie rather than Siddharth, and Akshay Khanna graciously agreed to swap roles.
