He shows you that even the biggest name in Bollywood needs to perform his heart out.

The story looks like that of redemption and picking up pieces after a great defeat.

Sallu aces both his akad at his local akhada and his undying spirit while proving himself again.

His Haryanvi accent does falter at places, but his sincere act and majestic stance more than make up for it.

He is ably supported by Anushka Sharma, who plays Aarfa, a strong and sensational wrestler who’s introduced as Haryana ki Sherni and Sultan ki jaan. Anushka’s body language is realistic, her gait athlete-like and her expressions fiery.

She transforms from a salwar kameez-clad everyday girl to a blazing ass-kicker, a trait that's a reflection of every woman.

Her interactions with Sallu are hilarious, emotional and inspiring- a complete range of emotions. Sigh.

We know that the underdog would eventually succeed, but we still cheer when Salman thrashes his opponent…because that, dear readers, is star power.

His massive screen presence overshadows almost every other detail. In a good way, of course.

The movie, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced under Yash Raj Films, stars Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda as Sultan's coach and Amit Sadh as Sultan's brother.
