MUMBAI: Indian model and actress Neelam Gouhrani, professionally known as Nandini Rai majorly works in Telugu films. Nandini Rai is the winner of the Miss Andhra Pradesh title of 2010. During her modelling stint, she has won several beauty contests, being named Miss Hyderabad 2008, Miss Andhra Pradesh 2010, Miss Pantaloons Fresh Face of AP 2009 and Miss Beautiful Eyes of AP 2010. After her victory, she shifted her career from modelling to acting.

Though the actress majorly appears in South Indian movies, she made her debut with Hindi movie titled ‘Family Pack’ which released in 2011. She stepped into South Indian cinema with Telugu movie 040 in 2011. Other than these movies, she has also worked in movies Telugu movies like Maaya and Mosagallaku Mosagaadu. In 2013, she made her Malayalam film debut in A. Sajeed's Goodbye December which is a "musical love story", wherein she portrays a young, naughty teacher.

In 2014, she even entered Kannada cinema with Khushi Khushiyagi. Other than movies, she has also been a part TV shows like TV reality show Bigg Boss 2, hosted by actor Nani. She has also made her place in the OTT space with series like High Priestess, Shootout At Alair, In The Name Of God and Gaalivaana.
