MUMBAI : Last night on social media, the eagerly anticipated Japan teaser was finally released. Karthi posted the information to his social media accounts and praised the role as one of his favourite roles to date. Raju Murugan is the film's director, making this their first joint project.

According to the teaser, Karthi portrays a thief who knows how to have a good life. Even as he enjoys an excellent time with gold, women, and partying, he has been responsible for more than 182 thefts, and four states are on the lookout for him. He even wears golden-colored clothing and has golden teeth. Cops are under increasing pressure, so they step up their search, but only in vain. Will Japan be tracked down by the police? Or will he keep challenging them for their money?

According to reports, the plot is based on the life of Tiruvarur Murugan, who committed numerous thefts around Tamil Nadu and Kerala. He continued to help the police in resolving the cases involving him after being apprehended by them. However, he soon passed away due to illness.

The teaser will be shown alongside Vijay's Leo, which debuted in theaters all across the world. The teaser for Dhanush's Captain Miller will also be shown in theaters other than Japan.

Karthi, Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, Vijay Milton, and Bava Chelladurai are just a few of the star cast members. The film's music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. S Ravi Varman handled the cinematography, and Philomin Raj did the editing. SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Productions is funding Japan. It was only recently that SR Prabhu said he couldn't wait to share the Japan teaser with everyone and that it was great.
