MUMBAI: Star Plus’ latest show, 'Jhanak', features Hiba Nawab in the titular role of Jhanak, Krushal Ahuja as Anirudh, and Chandani Sharma as Arshi. In the previous episode, Tejas came and told police officials that she was his fiancé and they could not take her with them. When Anirudh tried to intervene, Jhanak told him that it was her personal matter leaving Anirudh shocked. Tejas took Jhanak with him while he closed the door, leaving Jhanak frightened by his intentions.
Jhanak gets scared when he says it’s all marriage drama to use her until his desire gets fulfilled. Then he will humiliate her to take revenge on her.
Now, Vinayak and Shrishti become agitated because Arshi is not opening the door. Despite Vinayak's best efforts, Shrishti remains panicked. When she calls Anirudh, she threatens to ruin his life if anything happens to Arshi.
When Anirudh tries to reassure her and asks her what exactly happened, she responds that Arshi isn't opening the door. She even threatens Anirudh, saying that she won't spare Jhanak and him if something happens to Arshi.
In the meantime, Anuja also threatens to kill Jhanak in case anything happens to Arshi. Anirudh goes to Arshi's home and smashes the door to her room. When they called the doctor, they found her asleep and still lying on the bed, not responding.
When Anirudh finds the sleeping drug bottle, he finds that she attempted suicide. Even her death note is found, but he hides it to prevent generating further issues.
