MUMBAI : Sony TV is going to be the home to one such new show ‘Kavya - Ek Junoon Ek Jazba’ starring Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mishkat Varma. According to the promo of the show, Sumbul will be playing the role of IAS Officer Kavya who is married to an IPS officer. The story will revolve around Kavya who will make many sacrifices for her career.

Earlier, Amma tried to burn Kavya's IAS medal photo frame in a hawan to break her pride, and the tension between them grew. If her pride didn’t break, she would put Giriraj in jail. Kavya firmly told Amma that it was her dream. Amma was angry and told Kavya to leave the house. 

In the upcoming episode, Amma treats Kavya harshly, making her grind flour in a mill and locking her in a room. Kavya gets a call while working on her task telling her that he has located a journalist who has some proof, Navya Bansal. When Kavya tries to go, Amma is seated outside the door. 

What will Kavya choose, justice for her sister or the duty of being a good daughter-in-law?
