The serial is a story of the famous cartoonist R K Laxman and a common man who struggles in life to achieve his dreams. In fact, he is a middle-class man with high values. It’s not easy to sustain a show which is realistic and has already established in the minds of the people.

Tarak Mehta saves water

The makers of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/tarak-mehta/tarak-mehta-s-cast-stubs-it>Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah</a> are planning to weave in a ‘save water’ message through their laugh a minute show. “Yes, we are trying to spread awareness to save water in a humourous way,” confirms director Dharmesh Mehta. He adds, “In the current condition, our future is in danger. So this is a small initiative from our end.”
