Dulhann

Post the strike all the broadcasters and producers are leaving no stone unturned to revive the connectivity with the audience. One such show is Zee’s Dulhann. The production house Shakuntalam Telefilms have roped in Sayantani Ghosh who is known for her dancing talent to perform on a special number.

<em> Dulhann </em> fans went into a tizzy after it was reported that the show could be going off air. However, they can now breathe a sigh of relief as nothing of this sort will take place. However, there’s no denying that the show is currently going through a turbulent phase. At the centre of the problem is the leading pair of Sharad Malhotra and Divyanka Tripathy. Reportedly, the duo has been throwing a fist on the sets. While there’s uncertainly over their future, the show will go on.

After Addite Shirwaikar, it is Himanshi Choudhary's turn to get replaced on Zee's <em> Dulhann</em>. Additie and Himanshi play Sindoora's sisters. Additi was replaced by Shweta Dadhich and now Himanshi will be replaced by none other than her on-screen husband Harsh Vashisht's real wife Ritu Vasishta. A source from the production house informs, "Harsh who essays the character of Rajeev and was murdered earlier by Sindoora will be brought back. He was killed because he helped Divya and Amar to get married against Sindoora's wish. The body that was cremated was beyond recognition."

As <em> Dulhann</em> fans settled down last Wednesday to watch their favourite show they were in for a rude shock. What came on air was the same episode that viewers had seen the previous day! While everybody is speculating about the reasons behind the repeat telecast we throw some light on what really went wrong.

Wedding bells will soon be ringing in Sahara One’s top show <em> Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki</em> with lead protagonist Pari Parashar (Reena Kapoor) tying the knot with Manav (Vinay Jain). Confirming this news, producer Kavita Barjatya (Rajshri Producution) says, “Yes, the duo will be getting married. However, it’s not going to be a grand affair. In the current track, Manav is mentally challenged and is lying in hospital. Pari merely lifts his hand and applies the sindoor.”

Anokhi Srivastav who was last seen in <em> Kahin Toh Hoga</em> has bagged a meaty role in Zee’s <em>Dulhann</em>. Besides that she is also doing a show on Sahara One called <em> Main Aisi Kyun Hoon.</em> “I have just entered in <em> Dulhann</em> and essay the role of Bindiya, a typical village girl,” says Anokhi. Elaborating further on her role she says, “I’m a childhood friend of Amar (Sharad) in the show and we share a great relationship. The friendship slowly turns into liking but I never let Amar know. We always fool around but somehow Amar does not like me much.”

Recently it was reported that the leading pair of <em> Dulhann</em> will be returning on the show in a new avatar. Sagar essays the role of a UPite where as Divyanka will return as a well- educated and modern girl. We caught hottie Sharad in a chat on his new and exciting look. <strong>A village guy…</strong>
