MUMBAI: After television and web, casting director Sanjay Shukla is exploring films! Innumerable people are responsible for making a show successful, but as actors are the face of the project, they receive the maximum appreciation.

The crew who work behind the camera endlessly often remain the unsung heroes. In a brief interview with TellyChakkar, casting director Sanjay Shukla, who has worked and given his heart and soul to making projects a success on television, spoke about his growth in the industry and his plans to explore the web space and films.

Sanjay has done shows namely Meri Durga and Kundali Bhagya, episodic shows, and a web series for ALTBalaji. He is currently casting for Aladdin on SAB TV and Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha.

He is also the casting director of Ali Baba Aur 40 Chor, an upcoming show on Colors, and a film titled Fun In Goa produced by Anjum Rizvi Films and Mad Films Entertainment.

Speaking about his experience, Sanjay mentions, 'Having done work in all the three mediums, television, digital and films, I can say that each medium has its own charm. Who does not want to work in Bollywood? It is considered a bigger industry with better opportunities, and I too would love to explore that space.

I have worked as an assistant director for films such as Padman, Parmanu, and the Zoya Factor. Until I get an opportunity to cast individually. I hope to do bigger and better projects in the next four years.' Good luck, Sanjay! Attachments area
