Birthday Special: Why Kapil Sharma is the KING of comedy

Kapil Sharma

Television's funniest man, Kapil Sharma, turns a year older today and there's going to be celebrations galore for the Punjab da munda .

He breezed on to the TV world with his crisp humour, witty lines and mind blowing chemistry with the stars. From a small time stand-up comedian to an actor-in-the-making, the handsome guy has come a long way. It's no doubt that he is the undisputed king of comedy...here's why:

Spur of the moment humour

It takes special talent to be funny. But it takes an even more talent to rattle off witty lines at the spur of the moment. Kapil has that Midas touch, which makes one of the funniest men in the industry. With his unassuming ways and goofy humour, he can make anybody roll on the floor laughing.

His 'angrezi' talks

One of the reasons his fans are growing by the minute is thanks to his epic 'angrezi'. He keeps us entertained with his poor English and his attempt at speaking it with the stars. Who doesn't enjoy his funny talks, eh? What we love about him is that he is not ashamed of it, but has made it one of his core strengths.

Multi-talented

His humour is not limited to stand-up comedy alone. He sings, dances, does a bit of mimicry and asks a lot of questions that cracks up everybody. What's more! He is even trying his hands at acting now! Which other person can boast of such a resume, eh? Yes, nobody else.

Audience involvement

Unlike other comedians, Sharma gives the audiences a chance to interact with him as well as the guests. Although he pulls their legs and generally makes fun of them, he is a sport and so are his victims!

As he gears up for the next best thing in his life, here's wishing him a very happy and joyous birthday ahead!
