On the occasion of Children’s Day, we asked our favourite TV celebs about their bizarre eating habits as a child. Read on...

Tridha Chaudhary
I used to love eating Gummy Bears (an American candy) which my uncle used to get for me. I loved anything sugary so I had a teddy bear. I ended up biting its ear thinking it's made of sugar.

Samridh Bawa
I was a good kid so I never had any weird eating habits. I loved eating "choori"; it was a thick meetha paratha made out of sugar and ghee but my mom used to make by completely mashing the paratha and shaping it into a ball. I rejected every food against choori as I loved it so much. My mom used to get tired of making it every time.

Shivya Pathania
I used to eat slate chalks as I loved it.

Taher Mithaiwala
I used to eat mitti (soil) as I loved the taste. Then later, I would order pav bhaji and only eat pav and onion.

Vibhav Roy
I eat tissue paper even now.

Vrushika Mehta
I loved eating chalks, the slate ones. Also I used to bite my nails, which I sometimes still do.

Srishty Rode
I was a naughty kid. Used to consume chalk, brick and also mud.

Pankhuri Awasthy
I remember eating chalk and then getting scolded for it and thereafter never tried it again!

Vikram Singh Chauhan
I don't remember but mom says she caught me a few times eating mud when I was very young.
