This is how Diya Aur Baati Hum stars are enjoying their sabbatical

Missing your favorite stars from Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum? Here's what they are upto now...

Shashi Sumeet Production's popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum went off air last month leaving the ardent audience in tears!

The actors of the show had become household names after being on air for a long time!! And now they are being sheerly missed!!

But this off time has indeed been fruitful for all the loved actors of Diya Aur Baati Hum.

We are saying so, as all of them have now got quality time to spend with their loved ones.

In a Tellychakkar.com exclusive, we tell our loyal readers about what keeps the actors busy...

Anas Rashid - I am spending a lot of time with my childhood friends and family in my hometown Punjab. I have been missing Punjab from quite a long time; so I am spending a lot of time with my loved ones here.

Deepika Singh - I am just relaxing! I am not ready for a full flegded work commitment for few months but meanwhile I am open to do web series and theatre plays. I am getting offers but I need some time to be back to work. One needs a fit mind and body to work well; so I am relaxing and taking care of it. Meanwhile, I am also spending time with my family as I haven’t got proper time to spend with them in the last 5 years. I am also connecting with my fans on social media and interacting with them. I am enjoying my life.

Ashok Lokhande - I have been watching a lot of movies from the time I have got some free time post Diya Baati. I also attended the MAMI Film Festival in Mumbai and now I am flying to Goa to attend the Goa Film Festival with my loved ones.

Neelu Vaghela - I have got a lot of free time to spend with my loved ones. I prepare good food for them, I am spending time for shopping, I am helping my kids in their studies and my husband is busy with his promotions for his upcoming movie, so I am taking care of him too. I feel happy and blessed to see the love that the audience has for Diya Baati as they are quite dissapointed that the show went off air. They still question me about it. So for me, Diya Baati has not ended; it’s still alive.

Karan Goddwani - My dad has come from abroad after a year, so I am travelling with him. I am attending a lot of pending get togethers and spending time with my friends and family.

Pooja Singh - I have planned to take a break and relax with my friends for a month but I have been fortunate enough to have got a new show of Shashi Sumeet Productions when Diya Aur Baati Hum was on air. We haven't started shooting in full swing yet so till then, I am enjoying life by exploring good food in restaurants, exercising and posting pictures on Instagram.

Kanika Maheshwari - I am enjoying my sabbatical phase with my family in Delhi. I couldn't spend time with my loved ones at my in laws' place in Delhi in the last five years, so I am having a good time with everyone now. Even my son Reyansh is enjoying the love of his grandparents. I am getting approached for work in Mumbai but currently I am in no mood to return to work. I am planning to stay a month more with my loved ones.
