#Mother'sDay: TV’s real moms talk about Motherhood

Let us start by wishing all you lovely mommies a very Happy Mother’s Day!!! The day is special as we celebrate the bond of love between a mother and child. The amazing relationship can never be described aptly in words! Here we got the recent mummies of tinsel town to speak about how life has changed for them post motherhood. Also read them talk about some cherish moments with their tiny tots. Kanchi Kaul I think motherhood has not changed me but completed me. It is the most amazing experience and I am enjoying every bit of it. Every day there is something that I get to cherish for life time, but I love the way he has just started saying Mumma. The first time that I saw him, I was actually dumbfounded and too overwhelmed to remember how I reacted. Shruti Seth I have no words to describe how much life has changed for me after giving birth to my little angel. I think it is probably the best decision of my life to bring her into this world. Every time I look at her, I start crying and she checks on what’s wrong with mom (laughs). From the time I checked on the sonography where I saw a heart beating inside me, I think it has sort of changed me completely. Rakshanda Khan I think you end up having no personal life when you have a baby, as everything will revolve around the kid. You would have no time for yourself. I think every mother learns about this new phase every day. Initially I was so lost, but thankfully my husband helped me out and taught me every single thing. Talking about memories I think each day gives us millions of memories. Kanika Maheshwari It is a rollercoaster journey for me as I embark upon this new journey. And now life is not all about me but also the new life that I have brought in this world. When I first looked at him at the operation theatre, it was an unbelievable experience for me. Every time I feed my baby, I feel a divine connection between us. The amount of love that we share is beautiful. Khushboo Grewal I think in our industry specially we start living a really carefree life, travelling, partying etc but when the responsibility of a human being bonds you, it changes everything and in the most beautiful way. The power and responsibility factor surely goes hand in hand and I am glad am getting to experience this wonderful phase. I must add that all along I had been biased that I wanted a daughter for I feel they have the most special connection. Now I am waiting when she will grow up and I will get a companion for life. Keerti Kelkar Life has changed beautifully after my daughter’s birth. Every day I get to learn so much from her. The most important thing that children teaches us is that one doesn’t need big things to be happy; happiness is actually in the smallest of things. She gets so ecstatic when she does something different and starts clapping making us believe in the simplicity of love. Before going in for delivery, I was so scared that I said I am fine with a lifelong pregnancy (laughs). But as soon as I held the child, everything just changed. Cheers to motherhood and Happy Mother’s Day to all.
