News anchors present the news in an effective and engaging manner.

They don’t necessarily have to be attractive in terms of looks but what matters most is their news presentation skills and ability to handle any given situation by their words and presence of mind. So, by hot, we mean their presentation skills, style and the sophisticated manner in which they anchor.  
 
So, no doubt, the hottest news anchors are those ravishing men and women who keep people hooked to the screen by presenting news from around the world. 
 
Here we have compiled the names of some of the popular news anchors who are known to steal the show on their prime time.

1. Sunetra Choudhury

This lady is quite hot with her dimples. Sunetra started her career with the Indian Express in 1999. In 2002, she entered the electronic media industry and that’s the time she joined STAR News as a reporter in Hindi. The following year, she joined NDTV, and has been there ever since. As an anchor and reporter, she has covered everything starting from natural disasters to crime to investigations to politics. She is currently serving as an Editor National affair of NDTV and has written a book ‘Bars: Prison Tales of India's most famous.
 
2. Sreenivasan Jain    

Sreenivasan Jain is known for his investigative stories and insights into the issues. The journalist has quite a charming approach towards the camera. He anchors the weekly ground reportage show Truth vs. Hype on NDTV 24x7. He is currently the channel's Managing Editor. He was NDTV's Mumbai bureau chief from 2003 to 2008. He was also briefly the Managing Editor of NDTV's business channel, Profit. He also writes Op-ed column for the Business Standard newspaper. He received accolades for the Op-Ed in the hoot.

3. Sonal Mehrotra

This anchor with dimples is just too hot to handle. She has a unique style of reporting and handles issues graciously. She is currently the rising face of NDTV and serves as the Chief Correspondent and Anchor at NDTV. She is loved by people owning to her impressive news presentation. 
 
4. Mitali Mukherjee

One of the most well known faces in the world of business journalism, Mitali Mukherjee is the senior news anchor and Editor at CNBC TV-18. As the Markets and News Editor at CNBC TV18, one of India’s premier business channels, she has anchored flagship equity market shows like Bazaar on CNBC TV18 for a decade. She has also anchored several popular feature programmes including Wealth Creators, Classroom and Informed Investor. Her intense dark eyes, spectacular personality and an equally commendable track record make her one of the hot anchors of the country. 

5. Ravish Kumar 

He is the most charming Hindi news anchor and extremely educated on political and global issues. He has an impressive skill to unfold issues at the spur of the moment and present news with greater analysis. Ravish gives ears to others and space to panel members on debates to present their views and make a point unlike many other journalists who hate giving space to others. We heard that many politicians like to stay away from him. He is currently the Executive Senior Editor of NDTV India. He is probably the best news anchor in India.

6. Vikram Chandra 

Vikram Chandra came to the fore while covering the Kashmir conflict. The journo was assigned to Kashmir, where he reported on war and conflict. In 1999, he reported on the Kargil War. He is the former anchor of the Nine o’clock News and current host of Gadget Guru and anchor of The Big Fight at NDTV. As a journalist, he received many accolades and awards. Chandra received the designation "Global Leader for Tomorrow" from the World Economic Forum in Davos when he was selected as a ‘Young Global Leader’. He is currently the CEO of NDTV Group. 

Shaili Chopra

This lady with hot looks was an anchor of ET Now. She has twelve years of experience in business news anchoring, reporting and writing columns. She was the business editor for Tehelka. She used to write a popular golf column ‘Tee Off With Shaili Chopra’ for DNA. Until September 2012, she was the senior editor and lead female anchor at ET Now, the Economic Times Business News Channel. Shaili anchored the primetime shows and interviewed the likes of Warren Buffett, George Soros, Anshu Jain, P Chidambaram, Christine Lagarde and many others. She has also covered the Mumbai terror attacks live from outside the Taj Mahal Hotel.
