Reasons why we are excited about Channel V's D4

Channel V

The show that took the small screen by storm, Dil Dosti Dance, is making a comeback with a fresh storyline, star cast and super cool moves. As D4- Get Up And Dance gets ready to launch today (February 22), we tell you why we are excited about it…take a look:

Cooler, meaner moves:

Considering the working title of the show was Dangerous Dil Dost Dance, we are sure that the moves would be far cooler, meaner and path-breaking. Even its previous edition had all the recipes of a fun show, so the rebooted version can only get better, right? We might see completely unique dance forms too. Well, wouldn’t that be brilliant? Because infotainment is the key word on the small screen space.

Fresh love story:

The plot is rumoured to be a love story of a novice-dancer (Baby) and an accomplished performer (Mikhail). If the former is outgoing and full of life, the latter lives in a shell and has a dwarfed emotional quotient. We are excited to see what the duo has in store for us…are you? After all, who doesn’t like a love story with a backdrop of dance, drama, dil and dosti?!

New cast:

Even though the original cast had us rooting for them through and through, it’s always exciting when new faces are introduced. The show is said to have Utkarsh Gupta, Niyati Thathnani and Nikita Chopra in the lead. We would have to wait and watch what the threesome have in store for us.

Youth issues:

Since the show is about youngsters, it’ll definitely have all the trappings for youth. From heartbreak to the flush of first love to the joy of lifelong friendship and cruel competitions, there’s going to be many interesting sub-plots in the show.

Are you ready for the show? It will air from Monday to Friday at 7PM on Channel V. The show premieres tonight.
