Welcoming the warm festival of Lohri in the freezing cold weather, Punjabis in the country are all set to light bonfires and pray to the Lord for an amazing harvest. Tellychakkar.com got chatty with telly celebs to find out how they were planning to celebrate the festival...take a look:

Sangram Singh
I am celebrating this festival with children of an orphanage. I will be distributing some sweets and gifts to them. Payal (Rohatgi) is not in town so I can have as many sweets as I want to. I wish all my fans a very Happy Lohri.

Gurdeep Kohli
I am celebrating with my friends and family. As it is Lohri, there will be sarson da saag and makkai di roti and some sweets. I remember my daughter’s first Lohri as it was a special one and she brought joy and happiness in our life.

Abhishek Malik
Today, my mom is in town and she especially came to be with me. I am shooting, but I will be leaving early to spend the day with her. I have called some of my friends to have dinner at my place. I wish all my fans Happy Lohri.

Jasveer Kaur
I am celebrating with my family. I really miss those childhood days when my brother used to fly kite and I used to tell him that at least let me hold the kite and he would refuse. So now I have learned to fly a kite. I really love til ke ladoo and my mom is also making suji ka halwa and kheer.

Gurucharan Singh
I am in Delhi to celebrate Lohri with my family. We already started our celebration by visiting a Gurudwara. Later in the evening, my mom is going to prepare some sweets like piniyan, meethe pude, gajar ka halwa, rewari, gajak and many more special dishes. To all my fans, a festival brings happiness so enjoy Lohri with your family and be happy.

Vikas Manaktala
I am celebrating with my parents and sister and a few of my close friends. We will be going to a Gurudwara in the evening and will perform all the Lohri rituals. My mom is preparing all the sweets. I wish all my fans Happy Lohri, happiness and positivity. Let the good things and positivity come in to your life and the evil stuff burn in the fire.
