Will IPL 5 affect the ratings of daily soaps? TV's leading stars share their views

The Indian Premier League is back with its fifth season. In the first match, Mumbai Indians triumphed over Chennai Super Kings and it seems that it is going to be rocking season ahead. However, this highly popular star-studded T20 cricket tournament always sets the cat among pigeons in the GEC channels, as viewership tends to move away from soaps to cricket for the duration of the above tournament. TV channels resort to maha episodes and implore major twists in story plots to stay tight on the TRP ladder. Tellychakkar.com decided to talk to some of the leading actors and find out if they think IPL will affect the ratings of TV shows.
