Women are considered to be the strongest pillars of our society and some of them are truly an inspiration for many.

There is a lot to learn from women, who are excelling in each and every field these days; be it at home or work, they are handling things with perfection. The entertainment industry is no behind in having women who are a true inspiration to many.

This women’s day, we called up your favourite celebs and asked them about the women who have inspired them from the industry.

Read on to know what they shared with us –

Karan Wahi: I think that naming one woman from the industry wouldn’t do justice. From my producers to my co-stars, some have inspired me work wise while others have taught me the way to be.

Shakti Arora: It would be Priyanka Chopra because hailing from a non filmy background, she has come a long way and she is an inspiration to many. She has miss world title along with so many hit films to her credit. The most remembered one is Mary Kom. Not only in the modeling industry, she has proved herself in Indian films, Hollywood as well as in the music industry. I think she is a true inspiration for every man.

Ridhi Dogra: Definitely, Priyanka Chopra right now! She has inspired me because she has proved it that hard work goes a long way and you can achieve anything you want if you are consistent at what you do.

Abhishek Malik: My Mom is the biggest inspiration for me. In spite of so many ups and downs in her life, she has managed everything on her own. I know it’s too tough being a single parent but I am blessed to have a mother (women) like her in my life. Whatever I am today is all because of her. She is my inspiration, my institution and everything. I also look up to Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone as my inspiration as they have made us proud.

Kinshuk Vaidya: My Mom has inspired me the most in my life. All the credit goes to her for whatever I am today. As far as the industry is concerned, Kajol is one of today’s modern women who has managed to find the perfect balance between career and family.

Vahbiz Dorabjee: I have always loved Kareena Kapoor Khan and have been a big fan of her. She is a brilliant actress and she carries a right attitude. I have always loved the way she has proved herself. She is a balanced woman and kept working after marriage too. She was all over making a style statement during her pregnancy. She is always on the move and I always admire her.

Ssharad Malhotra: She has to be Ekta Kapoor for me because of her phenomenal amount of energy and her undying passion towards work and living life to the fullest.
