Audiences simply love it when the lead pair in any popular show on TV romances and entertains them. However, in many a cases, the great chemistry exhibited on-screen is not to be seen in real life..

Well, that's apparently the equation that exists between the very popular Jodi on TV, Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh, the lead pair of Shashi-Sumeet Productions' popular show, Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus.

Aah, seems like the hit pair had a showdown on the sets of Diya Aur Baati Hum, yesterday.

A source from the set told us, "Deepika was into a creative altercation with one of the directors on the show. This is when Anas Rashid tried to poke his nose into the matter, and Deepika did not like his interference and she ended up slapping him."

Well, we hear that there were loud altercations between Anas and Deepika,  and everyone present on the set were taken aback. The scene got so ugly that many a egos were hurt in the process.

It is believed that a few sections of electronic media were present on the sets when this unforeseen incident happened. Immediately the media was cleared off the set, and a standing instruction given to not entertain media on the set for the next few days.

An eye witness to the ugly scene did tell us that Deepika and Anas do not see eye-to-eye and share only a professional rapport. And this incident only took off the curtain on this concealed secret.

We tried our best to talk to Deepika as well as Anas, but could not reach them.

In fact, an order has been passed on to every actor and crew member on the set of Diya Aur Baati Hum to not entertain media calls or reveal anything out.

We tried buzzing Producer Sumeet H Mittal but did not get any revert from him.

As of now, we can only hope that peace is restored on the sets of the popular show.
