Super achiever!

She's just taken off her dancing shoes after being crowned champion in Nach Baliye and has now gone and bagged an award for acting! Supriya Pilgaonkar, the better half of actor director Sachin, had cribbed about aching knee joints and a bad back after the results of Nach Baliye were out, but looks like the lady still has spunk to get up on the stage and display her best histrionic talent. Supriya bagged the best actress award for her performance in a Marathi play titled Khara Sangaycha Tar on Sunday at the Zee Gaurav awards. Supriya may not have got the recognition she deserves during her long stint in films and television, but it sure looks like her star is on the rise! Krissh's dilemma! Zee's afternoon daily Mamta seems to have left its little protagonist Krissh confused! The two year old was in a fix a few days earlier when his real mother paid him a visit on the sets of the show. Caught between his real life and reel life mother, what made matters worse was the fact that both of them are called Preeti. His on screen mother Tanisha is played by Preeti Puri. When questioned, aapki mummy kaun hai???(Who's your mother???), the little fellow was lost for words! Earlier a terror on the sets, Krissh has now blended in well with the Mamta unit and is now the darling of the cast and crew! Preeti (Puri) often drives the toddler home and they dance to the Kajra..re.. tunes and have a good time! Mum's the word?? The idea may not have been exactly original, but Star Plus' Mum Tum Aur Hum seems to have struck a chord with little audiences. There have been families that have flown down to Delhi from places as far flung as Amravati and Tuticorin, just to be able to take part in the show. Says producer Anita Kaul Basu, "We even had a hysterical mother calling us from Tuticorin, saying her daughter wouldn't give up till she is called on the show." FM loves it too???? This is perhaps a first...the country’s finance minister is seen endorsing a news channel! The Times Group’s soon to be launched TV news channel Times Now has P Chidambaram, no less, in a pre launch show reel that is currently on air. He is seen smiling and mouthing the channel’s selling line -- "Feel the news." Well, what can we say....if Kumarmangalam Birla and Kapil Sibal and can do it...so can he???? Don't you agree?????
