Jasmin Bhasin, the gorgeous beauty who has been enthralling all as the lead in Zee TV’s Tashan-E-Ishq has grown as an actor and has it in her to go places.

In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Jasmin talks about her strengths, on the three men in her on-screen life and much more...

Tell us about your Tashan-E-Ishq journey.

Tashan-E-Ishq happened to me when I was spotted by the production in one of my commercials. My journey has been awesome. I thank God every day for giving me Tashan. Zee and Essel Vision have taken care of me like a family, my co-actors have been awesome. I don’t want this journey to ever end. 

How has the character of Twinkle motivated/benefited you?

It has benefited me because Jasmin has also grown mature along with the character of Twinkle, because I have lived the character to the fullest. I have started valuing and understanding emotions and relationships even more. I feel I am becoming a better version of myself because I learn something about life, love and family from the show because it is all about love and families.

Do you miss shooting with Siddhant Gupta now that the show has a new lead?

Yes of course, we are great friends. I do miss my buddy who used to make me laugh all day.

How have your equations been with the three men in the show, Sidhant, Zain and Naman?

It’s been great. Of course with Siddhant and Zain, it's more because we have been working together for more than a year and we are great friends. But surprisingly Naman didn't take long to become a part of our family. He is so much fun to work with, and is a guy with a mad, cool attitude. Naman and I love joking with each other; he is a very nice boy and a very sincere actor.

Are you happy with the way your character has shaped up?

Yes I am happy.

Tell us some unknown facts about Jasmin?

There aren't much unknown facts about me, but if I have to list, it will be like this..

-I am very moody 
-l can go bankrupt shopping for clothes 
-I love my parents to death 
-Sometimes I feel I want to run away from this world and go live my life in the mountains in a small village where nobody knows me.

You are in love. How does that feel? Tell us about your partner.

Yes I am in love, but I am in love with myself and it feels great to love yourself first always.

What do you think is your biggest strength as actor?

My biggest strength as an actor is that I did not go to any acting school. So I don't know method acting, I do it how I feel. I do it straight from my heart and in a very natural way. I think that's my biggest strength.

Which is the genre of work you want to try next?

Comedy.

Have you wished Siddhant all the very best for Jhalak?

Yes of course I wished him

Do you harbor aspirations of doing a reality? If so what?

Yeah I don't mind doing it; it will be challenging and I love challenging myself.

What are your ultimate goals?

My ultimate goal is that when I look back and around, I always see and have my family and loved ones smiling and living a comfortable life. My contentment lies in the happiness of my family and my loved ones.

What is the best compliment you have got for your role?

The best has to be when I was told that nobody could have played the character of Twinkle better than me. 

What does Tashan-E-Ishq mean to you?

For me, Tashan-E-Ishq is all about sweet nok-jhok in life. 

The one incident that you can never forget?

It has to be when I collapsed on the set when I was suffering from dengue last year. I can’t thank the production house enough for taking care of me so well.
