The pretty Shivani Surve is impressing us all with her portrayal as Vividha in Star Plus' Jaana Na Dil Se Door. Tellychakkar.com got in a fun tete a tete with the girl and here is what she shared with us.... 

Which are the prominent shows that you have done?

All my shows are prominent. Every single show was important, but Devyani was definitely the highlight.

Which was your last show?

A Marathi show Tu Jivala Guntavave.

How is it working in Jaana Na Dil Se Door?

It feels fantastic and superb. 

How is it playing the role of Vividha?

People think that every protagonist is the same, but no, I feel that Vividha is a little more real than other characters on television.

How much do you relate to Vividha?

It’s really difficult for me to relate to her as I am her opposite in real life. Like I don't care for things much, but she cares for everything. But I do love my family, much like Vividha does.

What feedback are you getting for the show?

People are liking Atharv's pairing with me. They are finding us cute and that’s what we wanted! 

Any interesting incident from the sets?

There are many incidents involving me and Vikram. We are the pranksters on the sets. Once, I was shopping for myself and came across a family that knew me as Devyani. I was like slightly shocked because we were in Rajasthan and people were recognizing me as Devyani, from a Marathi show! It was a really big thing for me. 

Can you cook? 

Yes, I cook. I can whip up delicious Marathi delicacies. Moreover, I can make perfectly round rotis. Also, I can cook Italian, Chinese and whatever you want. 

Three things that no one knows about you.

I like reading, horse riding.And yes, I love racing my car, but nobody allows me to do that.

Favorite Bollywood actors (male and female). Why?

I don't know have a particular favorite actress as every female actor is good. While, I love Hritik because he is a complete package. Secondly, I like Makrand Deshpande for the work he does in theatre.

What changes do you find in the industry?

There’s a lot of competition now, along with extreme professionalism. I doesn't mean that it wasn't professional earlier, but now it’s much better. 

How is it working with Vikram Singh Chauhan?

Oh my God. The rapport with Vikram Singh Chauhan is amazing. We laugh on the sets like insane people. We have become great friends now and share every little thing with each other. I can share everything with him…

What difference do you find between Marathi and Hindi TV industries?

I don't know why people ask this question…I don't even know how to react to this. It’s work, at the end of the day. It doesn't mean if it’s Marathi or Hindi…

How do you unwind yourself?

I go for a drive…with good music as my only company. 

Any interesting fan experience that you wish to share?

I was in Pune for some event and a person started saying ‘I love you, I want to marry you’ to me. I didn't know how to react as my father was there with me. While my father was rather chilled-out about it, the person was quite serious!

What kind of reality shows do you want to do?

Right now, I am not thinking of any reality shows. 

What are the hobbies you indulge in?

I like to read books and I also like cooking for my family.

What does love mean to you?

Love means respect. I feel the most important factor is loyalty.

What kind of a person would you like to date?

A sensible guy who doesn’t talk much as I am quite talkative. Furthermore, I want my partner to listen to me.

Describe your dream date?

It’ll be in a dessert where a small heart would be lit up... with my partner and I having wine.
