MUMBAI:Rakhi is hugging Shaurya when Kavya asks Mahesh how this happened to Nidhi’s mom, Mahesh leaves taking Karan with him while Karina is consoling Kavya, Preeta feels a bit tense.

Mahesh takes Karan into the room and is about to slap him, he is frustrated saying that no matter how much a person grows and becomes a businessman their responsibilities do not end which Karan has failed, Mahesh says that it is the primary responsibility of a person to take care of his family and protect them, so whatever has happened to Nidhi is due to him, Karan replies what could he do when Mahesh replies that he is the father of Karan so is sure that something very big has happened between them both, Mahesh says Nidhi has taken care of Shaurya just as his mother, he explains that one should always live in the present and not the past, Karina entering blames Karan for all that has happened so informs that Nidhi took this step due to him, she asks Mahesh to come with her as they have to sign some papers and give the advance, Mahesh leaves explaining he did not expect this from him hearing which karan gets tensed.

Karan seeing the Mandir goes to stand while holding his hand, he explains he is losing hope as whatever has happened is affecting his family directly and he does not know what would happen to Shaurya after it, he says Bhagwan knows that he cannot handle his children properly especially Shaurya, even when he loves him a lot but could never tell him that his father loves him a lot but could never express it, Karan says this is why he is holding his hands so that everything gets fine as his family thinks he is irresponsible when he is telling the truth that he cares a lot for his family and even Nidhi, pretty is emotional hearing Karan praying to get the strength to protect his family, children, and even wife so he could bring his family together when his wife does not remember anything and he is helpless as he could not even make her remember anything, Preeta wonders why do the husband and wife forget such beautiful moments, preeta is also praying while standing behind Karan.

Mr Panday thinks it is the best time as the Luthra family is in the hospital and it is the best time that he can get back the papers from the Luthra Mansion which Karan took from him three years ago that contained his business deeds, Mr Panday calls Rajveer asking him to take advantage of the situation that Karan Luthra is facing by bringing back the papers of his business deeds and business that Karan took from him years ago, Rajveer refuses to steal, as he desired to ruin Karan Luthra and by doing ti his revenge would be fulfilled. Rajveer recalls when he asked Shristhi maa who were those people who ousted her mother, then Shristhi maa blamed the Luthra family. Mr. Panday says the time is in their favor and he might not be so furious while Rajveer also loses focus, hearing this Rajveer recalls when he told Mohit that he will fulfill the story which will start after the end of Karan Luthra, Rajveer agrees to steal all the papers, Mr. Panday says that Rajveer is doing the work for him but Rajveer replies he is doing it for himself.

Preeta slowly goes to stand beside Karan, she is also emotional and cannot control her tears, Karan, realizing that someone is crying turns to look, he is amazed to see Preeta standing in front of him, he asks why is she crying, Preeta asks him not to cry assuring everything would be fine, Preeta wipes of the tears, she says she does not know as she felt bad seeing him like this, and even her heart is very heavy just as his pain is also her, , meaning she can feel his pain. Karan thinks that it is the pain of their hearts and even when Preeta has forgotten everything, her memories are still connected, preeta says she has to tell him something and feels he should know of it, Preeta informs Nidhi that even tried to commit suicide but she was able to stop her from doing it in the kitchen but it stricken her after a while and then Nidhi tried to do it again, so if she had known that Nidhi would do it again then she could have stopped her but till that time Nidhi had locked the door. Karina comes telling Karan that police have arrived hearing which he is shocked, Karina angrily leaves after staring at Preeta and so Karan also follows her while Preeta is also worried.

Rajveer goes out of the house and applies the key to his bike, he sees Palki standing outside when she recalls when Rajveer asked her to not interfere in his matters, she leaves when he tries to stop her however thinks he is busy at the moment however is surely going to talk with her, Rajveer leaves on his bike, Palki comes out when Rajveer feels something so he stops, while looking at the street, Palki thinks Rajveer did not even wait for her so thinks why would he wait when he does not have any time for her, Rajveer also thinks that palki did not stop for him, they both are very hurt, Palki goes back into her house while Rajveer also leaves.

Mr. Panday asks Shukla if he still has the desire to fulfill the responsibilities and reveal the truth, Shukla tells Mr. Panday he is the same as before but what news does he have for him, Mr. Panday tells him that the wife of a huge businessman has tried to commit suicide so Shukla goes to the hospital, Mr. Panday thinks that now he has gotten a huge chance and would make the most out of it, as the business empire of Karan Luthra is going to fall like the stack of cards.

Karan goes to the inspector asking what has happened when the inspector asks what was the reason that his wife tried to commit suicide, Karan accepts that she tried to hang herself but the Inspector questions if he was the reason behind it all, Shaurya warns him to behave as his father helped him save his mother but the inspector questions if Karan was saving himself because if something happened to Nidhi then he would also be harmed, Preeta requests the inspector to calm down as the entire family is tensed and emotional otherwise Shaurya is a very nice person but the Inspector replies he has solved a lot of cases in his career and there are either two reasons, first the problem of debt and the second is their family related issues so he wants Karan to come with him but Karan requests the officer to let him stay here since his family might need him at any moment, the officer leaves saying that Karan must come when he is called. Shaurya asks what is the inspector talking about, he asks everyone but then questions what happening here, he leaves and Rakhi follows him.

Garesh opens the door to find Rajveer standing there when he asks what happened so Rajveer says he needs some files of the office, Garesh agrees when Rajveer leaves to go to the room of Karan.

Bani Dadi asks Kavya if she told Varun, Kavya replies she thought it was their house-related matter so why should she inform Varun of it all, Preeta tells Kavya she is sure that sometimes such things happen in their life that they cannot control, Bani Dadi agrees but Karina says that Preeta is the one to blame for it all, Karan tries to stop her but Karina asks if they are deaf and blind as police came here and blamed Karan for the suicide attempt. Karan stops her but Preeta says they should at least listen to Karina, Bani Dadi mentions that Karina is saying Nidhi desired to take care of her but Karan brought Preeta, as she is a therapist and everyone tried to take care of her before Preeta but she was not relieved and only recovered when Preeta came, Karina says that Bani Dadi covered up the situation very well, Karan agrees with Bani Dadi however Preeta says she is feeling weird and thinks there is something which they all are unaware off, Karan is worried.
