Zee TV’s is rolling out a new show Yeh Teri Galiyaan, which is produced by Cinevistaas. The show will narrate a story about two kids Shantanu and Puchki, who are raised in Kolkata’s red-light district of Sonagachi.

Later, the boy moves abroad for studies, while Puchki grows up in Sonagachi and teaches dance to NGO kids.

It is a bold attempt by the makers and channel for introducing such a thought-provoking concept. However, will it manage to make a place in viewer’s hearts?
