MUMBAI: The third season of live singing-based reality show Rising Star started a few weeks ago. The show is hosted by Aditya Narayan and judged by Shankar Mahadevan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Neeti Mohan. In contrast to other singing-based shows, which feature celebrity judges, Rising Star features celebrity experts and considers the viewers as judges. During each performance, the audience decides in real time whether a contestant is sent through to the next round by using a mobile voting app.
