Star Plus and Reliance Big Pictures’ Comedy Ka Maha Muqabla that went on-air recently is going through a few changes. The show it seems has started on a wrong note. Earlier we heard that Sudesh Lahiri was replaced by Sudesh Bhosle as he was under a two year contract with Optimystix and that by being on this show he had invited some trouble. But a source tells us that this is not what exactly happened, “Lahiri who was part of Raveena Ke Mohre had a verbal spat with Raveena Tandon that led to his hurried replacement.” Now, we hear another team member from her group will have to walk out. As per a source, “Aashka Goradia who was also part of Raveena’s team will be moving out as she has date issues. She is currently doing Laagi Tujhse Lagan which is keeping her busy. She will be seen on the show for four episodes after which there will be a replacement. Besides, she was neither reporting on time for rehearsals nor was there for any team work which is essential to perform gags for this show. In fact this is clearly stated in the contract that the contestant will need to devote a fixed number of hours for the rehearsals and a fixed number of hours for the actual shoot which she could not adhere to. “Dolly Bindra who is currently doing Armanon Ka Balidan Aarakshan on Imagine was interested in doing this comedy show. She wanted to be the captain of a team and since the captains are all Bollywood faces she could not be accommodated. They are still searching a replacement for Aashka.” Lahiri confirmed that he is no more shooting for the show but when asked if his spat with Raveena was the reason for his replacement he said, “No, it’s nothing of that sort. In fact Raveena ji is a very good captain. People around you just make up things. “The fact is that I was working for Sony and I had signed a few contracts there because of which there have been issues. I must have signed a contract that doesn’t permit me to do the show but I have no idea about that too. I have still to sort out that issue and once that is clear only then will I be able to do the show. But, for now I am not shooting for it.” Aashka remained unavailable for comment.
