MUMBAI: Daily soap actors have to go through a lot of grinding. More so if you're playing a lead role.

Actor Arjun Bijlani recently got hurt on the set of Mamta Patnaik's Ishq Mein Marjawan and is currently nursing an injury. When asked, he said, ‘There was a fight sequence on the set of Ishq Mein Marjawan and the fighter unintentionally punched me on my face. Luckily, my face was saved, but I got a cut on my lip and have a bit of swelling. I have to start shooting for Kitchen Champion in one day and I hope my face will be okay by then. I am using a cold compress to reduce the swelling.’

Arjun also adds, ‘This is not the first time I am involved in a fight scene. In Ishq Mein Marjawan, we have fight sequences on and off. One has to be careful while doing action scenes, but accidents happen. The show must go on.’

Producer Mamta Patnaik is leaving no stone unturned as far as the story is concerned, and audiences are constantly waiting for the twists and turns and loving every episode.
