MUMBAI: This year actor Mahesh Shetty has stayed away from all festivities. He will be ringing in his birthday on 21st May but has decided not to have any celebration for his special day either.

Mahesh says " I have had no reasons to celebrate this past year. Was a pretty dark year for me personally. And my birthday is no different." 

Also since the covid cases have been constantly rising Mahesh says, “It will be a normal day this year,I will be staying indoors and spending time with family and that is more than enough for me to make my birthday special. The situations are really pathetic & it breaks my heart to see people suffer this way.I pray for the country to heal and may we all strive back to our old, good life very soon.”

Mahesh will be seen in the much anticipated film Bhuj: The Pride of India, we are eagerly waiting for the film to be released and unveil the events of one of most important events in history. Mahesh is also a part of few fantastic shows and couple of projects are yet in the pipeline for him and we are hopeful and excited to see him on the screen very soon.
