Actress Roshni Sahota who is presently seen in Colors’ popular show Shakti – Astitve Ke Ehsaas Ki is all set to turn a new leaf in her professional career. 

Roshni who is known for her performances in Nadaan Parinde, Yeh Ishq Nahi Aasaan and her ongoing show Shakti, has now turned Producer and is calling the shots for her passionately made short film!! 

The short film which will have a horror-based subject will also see Roshni essaying the role of the ‘ghost’…

We at Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Roshni to know more on her idea of producing the short film. “It’s my experiment to explore the ‘behind the camera’ work to know how post and pre-production actually works. This happens to be my first short film as a producer. My story is based on how a director will come to a haunted flat and get dragged into strange happenings. The interesting part for me is that I play the ghost.”

The short film is produced by Roshni and Vickiee Chaudhary's Pravah Entertainment. The story is also written by Vickiee.

It is directed by Mahesh Kapoor, and the DOP is Debasis Dutta. Vickiee Chaudhary will join Roshni in the main cast. 

Before closing, Roshni added, “While shooting for the short film, I came to know about the kind of work that goes through apart from acting on camera. It has been quite an experience and a learning curve. I eagerly look forward to send my short film to the film festivals.”
