Qayamat Ki Raat to have a new entry
Star Plus' supernatural thriller Qayamat Ki Raat is high on drama; the show always manages to surprise its viewers with interesting twists. According to reports, model Kingkini Bhattacharya has been signed in for a character named Yakshini, which is supposed to have a strong and important role in the narrative. She will appear to be a positive character initially but as her track moves forward, her evil intentions will be revealed.
Programming changes for Colors’ Bepannaah, Silsila and Roop
The telecast timing of Bigg Boss has been changed from 10: 30 pm to 9 pm. This means that the shows that were airing at that time will be pushed ahead. Once Bigg Boss Season 12 goes on-air, Roop will shift to the 10 pm slot, Bepannaah will take up the 10:30 pm slot and Silsila Badalte Rishton ka which currently airs at 10 pm, will be shifted to the 11 pm slot.

Talented actress Shruti Gholap, who has been entertaining audience with her acting skills in shows like Chandrakanta, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morre, and Super Sisters, has bagged a new show. Shruti will join the cast of Agnifera. Shruti will play the role of a jailer named Raksha. It will be a positive character. Ragini will give her newborn to her and she will be the mother of the adopted child of Ragini, shares a source.
Surbhi Tiwari who was last seen in Ek Saajhedhaari Ka will also be entering the show and will play a vital role. She will be a part of the revamped cast. As per a reliable source, Surbhi will be seen playing the role of the lead boy’s mother.
YouTube sensation Bhuvan Bam to debut in a short film
Bhuvan Bam, owner of BB Ki Vines YouTube channel which has over 9 million followers, will make his acting debut with a short film, which also features veteran Bollywood star Divya Dutta. The movie, titled Plus Minus, is written and directed by Jyoti Kapur Das. It’s a BB Ki Vines and Sikhya Entertainment production and slated for a 14 September 2018 release.
When Maniesh Paul got Rs 100 as Shagun on Indian Idol 10
Indian Idol is winning hearts across the country with the impressive singing talent and the renowned panel of Judges. The other factor which raises the entertainment quotient of the show is the most loved and talented host, Maniesh Paul. Maniesh is a multitalented guy who impresses everyone with a little surprise every week. Get ready to witness Maniesh Paul impressing the judges and the contestants with his singing this weekend.
When Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik were guests on the show, the judges insisted Maniesh to present one of his favourite songs. Maniesh impressed everyone by singing ‘tumse pyaar karte rahenge’. The judges and the contestants gave him a standing ovation and also pressed the buzzer for Mausam Badal Diya. Overwhelmed, veteran singer- judge Anu Malik gave Rs.100 as Shagun to Maniesh Paul. The guest of the day Kumar Sanu also gifted Maniesh Paul Rs. 2000 for beautifully singing the song. After Maniesh’s fabulous singing performance, the judges and the Top 11 contestants grouped together to give him Mausam badal diya.
Anu Malik says, “Maniesh is a very talented boy. He is extraordinary in hosting but I have seen his singing talent for the first time in the show. Whenever any singer sings beautifully in my studio I like to gift them something as Shagun. When Maniesh left us speechless with his performance I couldn’t resist myself and the first thing I reached out to was a 100 rupee note which I immediately gifted him.”
Special tribute to Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik on Indian Idol 10
Indian Idol contestants are creating buzz amongst the nation. The contestants are receiving appreciation from the veteran singers as well. Recently, renowned and veteran singers Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu graced the sets of Indian Idol 10 to support the talent. Time and again during the shoot, Alka Yagnik and Anu Malik were reliving their good old days when they were working together.
Alka Yagnik got nostalgic in between and said that it was the golden era when she and Anu Malik worked together. They can’t forget the things they did together as Anu Malik has always composed her songs.
A special tribute was given to Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu by the contestants on the set. The contestants gave a medley performance of the songs from the 90s era which had songs like ‘Tum dil ki dhadkan mein’, ‘Jeeta tha jiske liye’, ‘Ghunghat ki aad se Neelanjan’, ‘Tujhe Yaad Na meri aayi’ and many more. Ishaqbaaz fame Vrushika Mehta part of Sajid Shahid's calendar shoot
The very talented Vrushika Mehta, who is known for shows like Dil Dostii Dance, and Ishaqbazz, will be seen in yet another exciting project. The actress had bagged a spot in Sajid Shahid's calendar which will be launched in December.
When contacted Vrushika, she happily confirmed, "I can't wait to get dolled up and shoot for the calendar. I am super excited for this one. It's the first time where all the TV celebs are going to be featured in a calendar and I am very happy to be part of it. I will soon be coming to Delhi to shoot for the same. I am really looking forward to for an amazing shoot."

Adnan Khan gets injured while shooting an intense fight sequence!
Adnan Khan while shooting for an action scene injured himself, but in spite of the injury, he continued to shoot for his serial. He said that the injury has healed now and he will be shooting for the upcoming episodes.
Sonyaa’s look inspired by Madhuri's in 'Hum Aapke...'
Actress Sonyaa will be seen wearing a lehenga in the show Nazar. It is inspired by actress Madhuri Dixit Nene's look in the popular movie Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!
"I absolutely love Madhuri Dixit. I think she is gorgeous and has been an inspiration for me. My emerald green lehenga and the intricate jewellery that I wore made me feel like a royal. It has been my best look in the show," Sonyaa said in a statement.
"The makers did not intend for the look to be similar, but nothing makes me more excited than to wear a costume strikingly similar to Madhuri Dixit's look," she added.
Ssharad to play male lead in 'Musakaan'
Actor Ssharad Malhotra, whose last small screen outing was in the show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki", will play the male lead in Musakaan.
The show will get revamped and the actor will join the cast after that. The new storyline will revolve around his character and Musakaan.
"I am happy to have joined hands with Rashmi Sharma Telefilms and Star Bharat for their show Musakaan - an intense love story set within the confined spaces of a brothel.
"The content is exciting and unusual and I'm looking forward to a wonderful association and a rocking show," Ssharad said in a statement.

I've always respected Alok Nath: Hemant
Actor Hemant Chaudhary, whose on-screen character in a TV show is similar to the roles portrayed by Alok Nath, says he has always respected the Maine Pyar Kiya actor.
Alok is known for playing a doting father in films. Soon, Hemant will be seen essaying the role of Gauri Shankar, father of Samar (actor Namish Taneja) in the show Main Maayke Chali Jaaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo.
Gauri will be shown supporting Samar in each and every decision taken by him.
"I have always respected Alok Nath. He is an amazing actor who has made a mark in Bollywood and is also a fatherly figure to most of us. Gauri Shankar will show different shades. There will be instances where he will be seen as a doting father and will be seen supporting his son when he encounters problems," Hemant said in a statement.
"As a father, he will go to any extent to protect his family. This is like a dream role," he added.

Sanaya never participated in shows with intention of winning
Actress Sanaya Irani, who competed against various celebrities in Nach Baliye and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, says she has never participated in reality TV shows keeping victory in mind.
I take part in it (shows) to do what I like doing. I took part in two dance reality shows because I love dancing. I have never entered with the intention of winning. I don't know what goes on, how reality shows work or don't work," Sanaya told a leading portal.
"I go there and do my job. I do what I like doing. I get paid for it and I come home very happy. So there is no reason why I wouldn't do a reality show and I am perfectly okay with it. It's not like I have to win every reality show.
"I am happy where I am and doing what I am doing," added the actress, who made an appearance in the reality show India's Next Superstars earlier this year.
Any fiction or reality show in the pipeline?
"If there is something that I like doing, I will happily do it. I have not come across something that I want to do on TV right now," she said.

Anu Malik’s composition on Indian Idol gets a spot in Bollywood flick - Sui Dhaaga
Anu Malik is known all over the music industry as the maestro. His penchant to compose and narrate whacky shayari for audiences and celebrity guests on sets of Indian Idol 10 has been one of the key entertaining factors of India’s biggest singing reality show. On the recent episode, celebrity guests Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma made a special appearance to promote their upcoming movie – Sui Dhaaga. Incidentally, Anu Malik has also composed music for the title track of this Bollywood project.
Anushka and Varun thoroughly enjoyed all the performances from the talented Top 11 contestants on Indian Idol. Varun danced along with the contestants and the judges as well which heightened the glamour and entertainment quotient of the episode. The legendary composer Anu Malik composed a new song titled – ‘Sab Badhiya’ on the spot! Everyone including Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, along with Varun and Anushka were surprised and marveled at the striking musical composition! The actor duo was so impressed with the composition that they decided to include it in the movie, then and there itself!
Anu Malik on the sets of Indian Idol 10 revealed, “It was an amazing moment for all of us to have Anushka and Varun. Sui Dhaaga is a very special film and the whole moment on Indian Idol was beautiful. As a composer, it comes naturally to me seeing the things around. I was inspired to compose this song ‘Sab Badhiya Hai’ while seeing the vibes around me. They loved it and everyone was surprised. Varun and Anushka were so impressed that they decided to include it in the movie even after the project has been completed. It was a proud moment for all of us that a song that was composed on the sets of Indian Idol will now be included in an upcoming Bollywood movie.”
