Talented Marathi actress Anuja Sathe is all set for her breakthrough role on TV, of a girl aspiring to become a cricketer!!

Yes, we are talking about the upcoming Star Plus show, Tamanna which will be produced by Ramesh Deo Productions. 

Well, with the first promo of the show going on air, we do get a feel-good factor when we see the simple and calm Anuja in the lead role. Her girl-next-door look and pleasing characteristics have indeed caught up with the audience!! 

Yes, she looks remarkably different in her TV show, when compared to her very recent Bajirao Mastani getup. 

Wondering what we are talking about? 

Have you seen the recent blockbuster of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone? Well, Anuja features in the movie as Bajirao’s sister, Bhiubai. 

A source from the set of the Star show Tamanna told us, “We recently saw Anuja in the movie Bajirao Mastani. And she was amazing in the movie. She portrays a completely different role in this TV show, and is presently doing a great job. She is superb when it comes to handling the heavy emotional scenes and is equally amazing in the light-hearted ones too. We look at her to be the newest girl-next-door on TV.”
