Mumbai: Well, it seems like bringing old shows back with a flavour of something new is the new trend. 

One such show is Balaji Telefilms’ and Ekta Kapoor’s iconic Kasautii Zindagii Kay starring Shweta Tiwari and Ronit Roy. The show is all set to make its comeback with Erica Fernandes as the female lead. There is quite a buzz around who will play the role of Anurag Basu.

While Kasautii proved to be a game changer for Shweta Tiwari and was her debut show, Erica is a known face even before becoming a part of such a successful show. Erica is popular for her role in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi. 

We bet you didn’t know that Shweta was married even before she started shooting for the show. Erica, however, is not married.

Shweta had a child in 2000, again before the show started. The modern-day Prerna is single. 

Finally, before Kasautii, Shweta had not worked in any films, whereas Erica has been a part of few regional movies.
