Time to welcome the popular Amit Tandon back on TV.
The actor, who rose to fame via Indian Idol and then went on to depict important roles in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Dill Mill Gayye and Jeannie Aur Juju, will soon enter Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Balaji Telefilms).
As viewers would know, the Star Plus show will see a twist with the entry of Subbu, Ishita’s (Divyanka Tripathi) ex lover. How his entry will change her equation with Raman (Karan Patel) and Ruhi (Ruhaanika Dhawan) will be the high point in the coming days.
There were reports of actors like Eijaz Khan, Mrunal Jain and Aadesh Chaudhary being in talks for the character, but then Bhanujeet, who earlier enacted the role of Subbu was brought into the thick of things, as per media reports.
But now we have confirmed reports that Amit has emerged as the final choice for Subbu.
