Balaji Telefilms’ Pavitra Rishta, on Zee TV, seems to be travelling through a bridge of never ending troubles. Though the production house managed to retain its lead face Ankita Lokhande after a lot of struggle, but it failed to hold on to its next generation of actors, namely Asha Negi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Shruti Kanwar and Shakti Arora. As reported earlier, most of the new lot of actors mentioned above has put down their papers owing to the impending leap. And the latest we have learnt is that Ankita is down with Malaria. Yes, the actress is down with Malaria since the last ten days now and the show’s story is heading nowhere. If sources are to be believed, the creatives have just been working on filler episodes without Ankita. The worst is that they aren’t even sure as to when the pretty actress will get back to work. “We are in serious trouble with Ankita not reporting for the shoot due to her ill health,” said a source. When we contacted Mrinalini Tyagi, better known as Teju, she said, “Yes, Ankita hasn’t been keeping well.” However, she refused to say anything more. We texted Ankita but did not get any response. We just hope Ankita gets well soon!!!
