Cartoonist Aseem Trivedi who was charged with sedition is a very pensive man after his elimination from Colors’ reality show Bigg Boss season 6 last night (2 November 2012). “The real purpose for what I went into the Lonavala house was not fulfilled. I guess this distance from family and friends might be causing some of the friction which you saw lately.” Here Aseem stoutly defended hair stylist friend Sapna Bhavnani. “People can’t digest the fact that this lady speaks the truth and sticks by her principles. She even took on host Salman Khan when she felt wronged. ” He also did not share the public perception that Sidhu was trying to act “holier-than-thou”. “He was just trying to be positive, there is no sense in always following Newton’s Third Law Of Motion that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. I think everybody should be like that.” He further regarded Vrajesh Hirjee as a nice guy, who sometimes gets emotional. “I don’t think we fought. It was a case of difference of opinions in which both of us stood our respective grounds. ” Aseem also refused to speculate on which Bigg Boss inmate eventually will win the booty of Rs1 crore. “It is too early to say and that will finally be determined by the public.” Did he become a victim of power politics in the house? “I don’t know but all I can say is that I was nominated by others just because I was close to someone,” ended Aseem.
