Popular TV actor Navin Prabhakar, known for his ‘Pehchan Kaun’ line from the The Great Indian Laughter Challenge has some rituals that he has been following every year without fail. He told a news portal, “I wear traditional clothes on Diwali. For the last 17 years, I have been wearing kurta-pajama. I have those 17 pairs with me but haven’t got the chance to repeat them. We wear new clothes, with new thoughts, and positive vibes, and light up the diyas. I also love to purchase perfume on Diwali. Along with buying for myself, I give them to my friends, too.”

Reminiscing about his childhood days Navin further added, “Our dad would take us out shopping before the auspicious day. He bought us new clothes and firecrackers. As a ritual, we would visit an ice cream parlor after shopping. Back then, it would cost us a rupee. Diwali was all fun as a child.”

Navin has also been part of several Tv shows like Laal Ishq, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, Crime Patrol and many more. The actor started his career as a singer and has been a voice over artist for many films.
