MUMBAI: Colors' show Chhoti Sardarrni has been running on the small screens for a very long time now. 

The show has been witnessing several twists and turns in the story. 

The diehard fans of Chhoti Sardarrni are super thrilled as the show is all set to take a huge leap. 

The viewers are expecting some interesting set of twists and turns in the story post the leap. 

The show's story will witness a 16-year leap and many new characters will be entering the show while some will be making an exit.

The cute kids of Meher and Sarabjeet will be shown grown-up. 

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia will be seen playing the role of grown-up Seher and will be seen in a completely different avatar. 

Well, one of the most loved characters of the show Kulwant which is played by Anita Raaj won't be a part of the show post the leap. 

While fans will definitely miss seeing the veteran diva, we are excited to see her back on the screens soon. 

We all know that Anita had a ball of a time shooting for the show for the past two years. 

Anita shared a great bond with everyone on the sets of the show. 

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Anita was asked about her bond with co-star Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. 

Nimrit plays Anita's daughter on the show. 

Anita was all praises for Nimrit and said, ''My bond with Nimrit is just wonderful. She is like a daughter to me. I am very protective of her. This little girl came from Delhi to Mumbai and it was her first show. I have always been there for her.'' 

She further said, ''I love being in Nimrit's company. She is so mature for her age. I like talking to her.'' 

The veteran diva won several hearts with her performance as Kulwant on the show and we are sure that the fans are definitely going to miss her big time on the show. 

Chhoti Sardarrni will witness a leap from 26th July onwards!
