These days, she is in the headlines as her most loved show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi is back on public demand.

She will be reprising her role of Dr. Sonakshi Bose, and the story will revolve on the problems of Dev and Sonakshi.

During a recent press conference, Erica revealed Sonakshi’s maternal journey.

She said that playing a mother on-screen was quite interesting as Sonakshi is a modern woman. While bringing up a child she wonders what difficulties Ishwari would have had while she brought up three kids all alone.

Erica also said that Sonakshi as a person wonders how different are the ways of her parenting and Ishwari’s. The grandmom wouldn’t agree to the way how parents bring up children in today’s time.

She revealed that Sonakshi wants to be her kid's best friend and give them space and allow them to live their life the way they want, whereas Ishwari will have a different take on it.

Erica said that this would be the journey of Sonakshi as a mother in the new season.
