Hope you have read the exclusive update on Zee TV’s Sarojini. The next ‘big’ news to hit our news desk is about MTV’s upcoming show Girls on Top.

Media had earlier reported about Fenil Umrigar being roped in to play one of the leads. However, the girl has now been replaced due to personal reasons.

The makers have brought in Bhagyalakshmi’s actress Barkha Singh as Gia, who would be a journalist from Kolkata. The actress will be paired opposite Yuvraj Singh.

When we called Fenil she confirmed and said, “Yes, I have moved out of the show due to some personal reasons.”

The other actors who are part of the show are Shantanu Maheshwari, Arjun Singh, Saloni Chopra and Ayesha Adlakha.

The show is produced by BBC and it will launch by mid of this month.
