Bharat Kaul and Charu Asopa who had been finalized to play pivotal roles in the Sisodia family in Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage, produced by Sphere Origins have been unceremoniously removed from the show at the last minute. And the reason for this we hear is that the story has been tweaked by the channel for certain reasons. Bharat Kaul was to play the role of the lead Sahil i.e. Ashish Kapoor’s, father while Charu Asopa, who was last seen in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev on Life OK, was to play the sister of the male leads. However, the recent development in the script has forced certain changes, and Bharat Kaul’s character has been erased. And for the sister’s role, the creative team is now looking for a younger face. When contacted, Bharat Kaul expressed displeasure saying, “Yes, I have been informed today that I am not needed for the Sony show. The reason given was that with the script change, the father’s role has been removed. I had got many other offers, and to reject an actor after everything is finalized is not done. I ask the concerned people – ‘If an actor had refused to do the show at the last minute, how would they have reacted?’. Anyway, I guess this is part of life.” Charu Asopa too echoed her sentiments and said, “I am not doing the show anymore. Everything was fixed and I was to start shoot when I was informed that they needed a younger looking face to play the sister.” Well, guess all this is part and parcel of the television industry!!
