Brothers Gaurav Chakroborty and Arjun Chakroborty will be seen sharing screen space in the new episode of Colors Bangla’s crime drama television series Byomkesh: Sajarur Kanta.  

Both the brothers were last seen together in the same frame in Star Jalsha’s Gaaner Opare.

When quizzed why they are not seen much together on screen Gaurav replied, “It is because may be nobody thought of casting us together. Now that one producer gave it a thought so we are getting to work together once again. We are working after a gap of around 4-5 years. I think it is a great opportunity for both of us”.

“If any interesting project comes to us then the audience surely will see us on the same frame again. We always look forward to work together,” added Gaurav who essays the role of Byomkesh in the serial.    

When asked how it feels to work with Gaurav, Arjun who is essaying the role of Debasish Bhatto shared, “Although, I am yet to shoot my scenes with dada (brother) but it always feels great to work with him”. 

Another highlight of the story is that Amrita Chattopadhyay, who has earlier worked with Arjun in movies like Janla Diye Bou Palalo, too is a part of the story. 

Speaking about her role in the show Amrita said, “I am playing Deepa Bhatto. She is a very important part of the story”.

“I have already read Sajarur Kanta but to get to the skin of the character I am re-reading the story,” smiled Amrita. 

Byomkesh: Sajarur Kanta will go on air from 5th September on Colors Bangla.
