It’s an eureka moment for team Dashi!  

Yesterday, the Colors Bangla’s daily completed featuring of 100 episodes. 

When we contacted Ishaan Mazumder, who is playing the significant role of the journalist in Dashi, to know his view on this development, he said that the credit goes to the entire team. 

He opined, “The storyline has been adopted from the play ‘Kamla’ by Vijay Tendulkar. So, it’s not a typical saas bahu type serial. It’s a story on a hard hitting subject. It tells the journey of a journalist, Rajdeep Chatterjee, who rescues a girl from getting sold and then how he exposes the scandal surrounding human trafficking.”

“The story has a special message, which depicts a lot about issues that women face across the globe. And of course, the awesome execution by the entire Shree Venkatesh Films (SVF) family and Aurobindoda (Head of serial division of SVF) has helped the daily to make a place for itself on the small screen,” he added. 

When asked if he feels lucky for bagging the role of Rajdeep, he quipped, “It’s a great opportunity to get a role like Rajdeep Chatterjee, which is well portrayed by Sahanadi. I feel lucky for being able to work with such a big house of Bengal. I am learning a lot from our director Amit Sengupta.” 

“We hope to keep our viewers hooked to the show in the coming days too,” he signed off.
