Tumi Ele Tai

Here we bring a piece of good news for all the loyal followers of Colors Bangla. This family entertainment channel is launching a new show titled “Tumi Ele Tai”, which is set against the backdrop of football.

Sujay Kutty, Channel Head, Colors Bangla & Odia said about this new venture, “Drama and entertainment are an essential part of television offering. Every bit of our experience has been enriching and we wish to provide content that is innovative yet engaging.”

Produced by Raindrop Productions, the story will trace the journey of a strong independent girl named Babli who falls in love with a footballer, Utsab. Her father, Rajpal Dutta, who owns a football team, lets her marry the love of her life with a strategy in mind.

However, the twist comes when the boy too joins her father in the strategy as he finds this a great opportunity to fulfil his dream of becoming a star footballer, even though eventually he falls in love with her.

When quizzed that won’t the audience will get bored of seeing football all the time, Joydeep Mukherjee, the director of this serial, opined, “Football definitely is an integral part of this serial but that does not mean it will hog all the limelight”.

“We have to think about the women also. They obviously won’t like to see football all the time, “added the director.

In the serial, Diya Mukherjee will be seen as Babli, Uday Singh Rajput as Utsab and Sudip Mukherjee as Rajpal Dutta.

So, after all the twists and turns in the story, where does Utsab and Babli’s life head to? Will they lead a happily married life or will they get separated in time?

To know more about their story watch Tumi Ele Tai from 21st September every Monday to Saturday at 7 pm on Colors Bangla.
