The entry of popular actress Parul Chauhan is slated to be a game-changer in terms of story forward for Star Plus’ long-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Director’s Kut).

Now the show will see yet another big entry, which will be of Karthik’s father.

Well, Tellychakkar.com was the first to exclusively report about Parul’s entry in Yeh Rishta.

We now have confirmed news of seasoned actor Sachin Tyagi entering the show, as Parul’s husband.

Wow!! Isn’t this good news?                            

For the uninitiated, actors Sandeep Rajora and Shakti Anand came quite close to grabbing the role. But the deal did not fall into their lap.

As per sources, “Sachin will play the mighty and powerful Manish Goenka, father of Karthik (Mohsin Khan). Karthik and his father will have a strained relationship.”

As we know, Sachin is part of Colors’ Swaragini which is about to end in December. Earlier, he has worked with Producer Rajan Shahi in the Star Plus show, Tere Sheher Main in a special cameo appearance.

We tried buzzing Sachin but could not get through to him.

Our efforts to get in touch with Producer Rajan Shahi and channel spokesperson were in vain.

Sachin will start shooting from today, is what we hear.
