Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported about Star Plus working on a bi-weekly show titled Dafa 420 to be produced by Saregama Productions. The show which will focus on ‘con’ cases to be solved by a lady inspector, will have Yuvika Chaudhary and senior actor Manoj Pahwa playing central roles. While Yuvika will play the cop, Pahwa will play a conman himself, who would be helping out the cops in cracking cases. Actor Amit Mistry. who has been part of movies like Phillum City, Singh Saab The Great, Yamla Pagla Deewana, will also be one of the few permanent characters in the show, which will otherwise deal with episodic stories and cases. Mistry will play the role of a cameraman who will help out the cops in nabbing criminals. Well, there is a big development related to the show. Instead of Star Plus, it will be launched on Life OK. Earlier, Laut Aao Trisha which was supposed to air on Star Plus was shifted to sister channel, Life OK, owing to programming changes. A reliable source states, “Dafa 420 will now launch on Life OK. And the unit is presently finalizing the episodic cast for which few big names are to be roped in. The show will go on floor in couple of days, and will launch on Life OK in the last week of October. It will be a bi-weekly show.” When contacted, Yuvika, the protagonist of the series refused to shed any light on the development. We tried contacting Manoj, but did not get through to him.
