Actor Deepak Chadha who is a known name in both television and movies is excited about his interesting role in the upcoming Prabhu Deva directed movie R… Rajkumar starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles.
Chadha who has been part of shows like Hitler Didi, Parichay, Sasural Simar Ka, Shubh Vivah, Punar Vivah, Havan, Phulwa to name a few will play a corrupt minister in the upcoming movie.
His character will be of a minister who will promise quite a lot towards the betterment of the ‘Aam junta’ if he is voted to power, but will go on to tie-up with the same corrupted party once he gets to power. Eventually, the character will be exposed by the ‘aam aadmi’ Shahid.
Talking about it, Deepak who has done movies like Lafangey Parindey, Tannu Weds Mannu among many others tells us, “It is an interesting cameo role, where I play a corrupt minister. I am looking forward to this movie’s release.”
In addition to this, Deepak is also presently shooting for the Rajeev Khandelwal starrer, Woh Aadmi Bahut Kuch Jaanta Hai which also has Leena Jumani, Shatrughan Sinha, Prem Chopra, Ranjeet in the principal cast. “I play an ACP in Woh Aadmi, and the shoot for the movie is presently on.”
