Dilip Joshi realizes his 'responsibility' after 'Swachh Bharat Campaign'

Dilip Joshi
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has remained a popular show on SAB TV from its inception and is still going strong. Few days back the team was invited by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, for his ‘Swachh Bharat Campaign’. Furthermore, the entire star cast and crew of Happy New Year, was present at the set to promote the film. When the lead actor of the show, Dilip Joshi, was contacted, he was all praises about the team Happy New Year. “We recently shot the special Diwali episode with the cast till 3 in the morning.” “Shah Rukh Khan is just so humble and sweet. He does not have any star like attitude or any tantrums. Infact all the actors were so cooperative. We had so much fun while shooting for the episode.” When he was asked about joining the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat Campaign’, the actor excitedly replied that it was wonderful to join such a campaign and was overwhelmed. “It is not a usual thing that the Prime Minister asks the crew of a television show to join his campaign”. “We are definitely very proud about it. But at the same time we also realize our responsibility that has been put up by this campaign. It is not a regular affair to join such a movement. If we are invited to join this one, then we should act accordingly”. The actor also added that even after completing 1500 episode in the show, he feels that it has all just begun. “The writers are coming up with something new every time and I believe that is the reason why audiences are still enjoying the show”. When the actor was asked about his Diwali plans he quickly replied that he will be on a holiday with his family. All the best, Dilip!!!
