Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Director’s Kut) will now get on to the wedding day drama as Yash (Sanchit Sharma) and Rose (Sippora Zoutewalle) will be all set to take their nuptial vows. 

For the first time, Yeh Rishta will show a church marriage, as Rose’s mother Martha (Suzanne Bernett) will demand for the same. 

For the viewers, it will be grandeur at its best, as they will witness an Indian wedding as well as a westernized one at the Church.

As per sources, “The family will organize the desi rituals first, and it will happen with aplomb. And when it will come to honoring the promise given to Martha to conduct the rituals in church, Rukmini (Sunita Rao), grand mother of Yash will not give in. She will be upset at the fact that the bride will have to wear white attire (considered to be inauspicious) on the same day of the wedding. The two families will get into a major argument, but Akshara (Hina Khan) will come in as the saviour.”

Akshara will very intelligently modify the attire color to peach, and will also add colored designs on the bride’s white veil.

This way the families will solemnize the wedding, and breathe in peace...
