Ekta Kapoor postpones launch of new show...Find out why?

Iqbal Khan and Mona Singh

TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor yet again has proved that she is the BOSS!

The lady who personally takes care of her shows’ content, title and casting, also chooses her launch dates .

The producer has postponed the launch of her new project Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do (PKHJD) on Sony Entertainment Television.

And from what we hear, the delay is caused by a superstitious belief.

The daily which was earlier slated to launch on 12 October, has been pushed for a week due to spiritual reasons.

Shared a source, “According to the Hindu calendar, the period of shradh will start from 28 September and end on 12 October. Ekta wanted to avoid starting a new project in the same time span, and thus delayed the launch of the soap. She is possessive about each of her serials and wants the best for them. She wanted to begin the PKHJD on an auspicious time.”

Hence, the new offering starring Iqbal Khan and Mona Singh will hit the TV screens from 20 October i.e. Tuesday.

We buzzed Producer Ekta and also dropped a text, but did not get any revert till the time of filing the story.

But when we called the Creative Director, Balaji Telefilms, Nivedita Basu, she shared, “We had never announced the launch date as it is a channel’s call.”

Even the lead of the show Iqbal Khan remained clueless about the entire development.

Well, whatever date it may be we are sure fans are already excited for the show to hit the TV screens.
